The Swanson's North Fork Discovery Center, formerly known as the Environmental Center, is a place where people of all ages can come to explore, learn, and grow about a multitude of subjects and disciplines. The Discovery Center offers a variety of programs and activities that focus on science, nature, athletics, and the arts year-round. The new name, Discovery Center, captures the breadth and depth of what the Center has to offer WSD and the community as a whole. 

The Swanson's North Fork Discovery Center strives to serve the students and faculty of WSD by giving everyone who attends the Center an opportunity to discover nature, relationships, adventure, and themselves.
